Focused desk setup at Story Louisville
Week one

The essentials to get fully plugged in.

Story works best when the setup disappears into the background. Handle the admin, learn the norms, and then use the space like it was set up for you, because it was.

Community norms

Be kind. Book the room. Use the booth.

  • Keep music requests to the team and leave the shared speakers alone.
  • Phone booths are first come, first served and best used for shorter calls.
  • If booths are full, ask the team for help instead of taking calls on the open floor.
  • Join happy hours and events when you can. Community is part of the product.
Beyond the desk

Celebrate wins. Use the perks. Work the neighborhood.

Send the big news to the team, claim the local discounts, request the mailbox if you need it, and treat the surrounding neighborhood like part of your workspace.
